Roll d10
Where the d10 shows up
- Percentile rolls — two d10s read as tens and units.
- Dice-pool systems such as World of Darkness, where you count successes at or above a target.
- Damage and initiative in several d20-adjacent systems.
Counting successes in a pool
In pool systems you roll a handful of d10s and count how many meet a difficulty. With a difficulty of 7, each die succeeds 40% of the time, so a pool of five dice averages two successes. Roll the pool above and count the results at or above your target.
Frequently asked questions
Does a d10 show 0 or 10?
Physical d10s are usually numbered 0–9, where 0 counts as 10. This roller returns 1–10 so no conversion is needed.
Can I roll several d10s at once?
Yes — set the dice count and every die is rolled independently, with the total shown underneath.
