Low house edge dice games — what's worth playing

If you Google 'low house edge dice,' you'll get a wall of affiliate sites pointing at the same five casinos. Here's the actual math, ranked, plus what 'low edge' doesn't tell you.

Edge ranking (lower is better)

  1. Rollit PvP dice — 0% edge on the roll; 5% rake on wins only.
  2. Stake / BC.Game slider dice — ~1% edge per bet.
  3. Craps pass line / don't pass — ~1.4% / ~1.36%.
  4. Sic Bo big/small — ~2.78%.
  5. Chuck-a-luck (single number) — ~7.87%.
  6. Sic Bo specific triples — ~16%.

Why "low edge per bet" is misleading

A 1% edge on 200 bets is a 22% expected loss on your buy-in. A 0% edge with 5% rake on wins is a much smaller drag because the rake only applies to roughly half your rounds (the ones you win), not all of them.

What else matters besides edge

  • Speed of play. Faster games burn through more bets — and more edge.
  • Minimum bet. Lets you stretch a small bankroll into more rounds.
  • Provably fair audit trail. A low edge you can't verify is just marketing.
  • Withdrawal friction. The cheapest game on a site you can't cash out of is worthless.

Pure-math winners

For house-banked play: slider dice and craps pass line are tied for best edge. For overall bankroll efficiency: PvP dice wins on math, plus the social layer is a real bonus that slider dice doesn't offer.
